What is Bleed?:
This is the area, which is defined beyond the page size. With this you can avoid white areas, which can arise from the trimming. Please fill out the bleed with the items or background information located at the margin. The minimum distance from the font to the margin of the page size should be 1,5 mm.
What is DPI?:
A measurement of resolution which indicates the number of dots per unit of length. An exposure device with a resolution of 2540 dpi exposes 2540 dots on a length of 1 inch. This equals approximately 1000 dots per cm.
What is a PDF?:
(Portable Document Format)
Data format for platform-independent and programme-independent data exchange. PDF files are created on the basis of programme files or PostScript files. Acrobat Reader, which is available free of charge for all operating systems, allows to open and print PDF documents. PDF is used for: document transfer for the purpose of correction, printing and exposure, remote proofing
